Trinity Juniors win Gold Star at hockey
View(s):Trinity College Under-14 hockey team coached by Mohamed Ashraff won the ‘Gold Star’ at the All-Island Under-14 Inter-School Hockey Tournament organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Hockey Association at the Vincent Dias Stadium in Badulla.
Trinity’s Mohamed Aaqeel was in cracking form scoring four goals and Anuradha Wijetunge scored two. Trinity beat St. Benedict’s 2/1, both goals were scored by Anuradha Wijetunge. Trinity beat S. Thomas’ 3/0 with all three goals being scored by Mohamed Aaqeel, and Trinity beat Uva Maha Vidyalaya 1/0 with Mohamed Aaqeel scoring the only goal.
