Pakistani Higher Education Scholarships for 9 Lankan students

The Pakistan High Commission (PHC) in Sri Lanka said its government, under the Pakistan Technical Assistance Programme (PTAP) for Sri Lanka, has awarded fully funded Higher Education scholarships to 9 Sri Lankan students in fields of Pharmacy and Engineering in top Pakistani institutions.

The Pakistani High Commissioner in Sri Lanka, Dr. Shahid Ahmad Hashmat met the selected students at the PHC and congratulated them on their selection for Higher Education in Pakistan. He said the scholarships will strengthen relationship between the two countries. He further said these Scholarships will create new professional relationship and bilateral communication between institutions of the two countries.

The Government of Pakistan has also awarded several Scholarships to Sri Lanka’s O/L and A/L students under the Annual Jinnah Scholarships.
