The Ministry of Education (MoE) intends to train personnel in Non-formal Education to prepare them to face challenges of changing trends in Education

Accordingly, the MoE has called upon Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Hong Kong to submit proposals with the cost estimates, for the training.

The MoE intends to send 50 personnel, 25 teachers from schools islandwide and 25 Education officers, for a 7-day programme to learn classroom techniques adopted in those countries. This, it is believed, will enable Educationists to keep abreast of developments worldwide, in the Education business, and adopt them in the local Education system.

The Non-formal Education has become popular worldwide and is helping professionals update knowledge and enhance opportunities for the non-schooling population.
