OKI International Wattala enters third round

OKI International School, Wattala entered the Third Round of the Singer All Island Under 15 Division III Cricket tournament with an unbeaten record having won all the four matches played in the Second Round.

Superb team work and understanding of the Wattala lads along with fine allround performances guided them to sail to the third round on an unblemish record. Pathum Atthapattu, Aaron Perera and M. Sumar spearheaded their batting while Yaeesh Amith and Pradeev Muththulingam led the bowling attack.
Aththapattu, Perera and Sumar scored a century each in the four second round matches they played. Amith and Muththulingam never showed any mercy on the opposing batters to claim 30 and 18 wickets respectively in the second round. Amith had a rich harvest with a total of 43 wickets in seven matches in the tournament so far.
