Helping students in need in memory of a lost son

Parents of a 20-year-old student who passed away tragically in an accident in Italy last year, are engaged in supporting underprivileged schoolchildren, in memory of their deceased son.

Ranjith and Priyanka Ekanayaka, parents of the late Nick Thilan Ekanayake are engaged in “Dinana Daruwanta Hetak”, a programme to support skilled students’ education.

On Monday morning, they distributed books, bags, water bottles and other school items to students of Athbatuwa Kanishta Vidyalaya as the 1st phase of their programme.
