UL Club gives a helping hand to ‘Little Hearts’

The UL Club, formed in 2007 by a band of retired AirLanka and SriLankan Airlines staff,  celebrated its 10th anniversary on March 24, 2018 with a gala dinner dance at the Golden Rose.

The event was also a social service project of the UL Club aimed at generating funds for the ‘Little Hearts’ project of the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children. The President & the committee of the UL Club donated Rs. 500,000 to the Consultant, Lady Ridgeway Hospital, Dr Duminda Samarasinghe  to help construct the cardiac and critical care complex at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital.

The UL Club has also conducted other such projects in the past, including ‘Friend-In-Need’  that provided financial assistance and scholarships to underprivileged students.
