Making an emotional connection with their fans, Irish band Boyzone now on their farewell 25th anniversary tour performed at the CR&FC grounds on Thursday, August 16. The one and a half-hour concert saw the group – down to four from their original five – Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham, Shane Lynch and Ronan Keating (following the untimely loss of Stephen Gately), a tad older than in their heyday in the ‘90s but still instantly recognisable, delivering many of their well-loved chart-topping hits that had taken them on their incredible 25-year journey from performing for audiences of 60-70 to huge arenas across the world.

Thanking their fans for their loyal support over the years, the band who will release their final album later this year, gave Colombo a surprise preview performing one number from it. They now go to other Asian venues in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Their show presented by Standard Chartered Bank was organised by DCI Events and Entertainment.
