Jubilee Celebrations for Housewives
View(s):The year 2018 marks a milestone for the Sri Lanka Housewives’ Association as SLHA is Celebrating their Diamond Jubilee.
Sixty years of hard work, serving the housewives of Sri Lanka both young and old wives, mothers, grandmothers and great grandmothers, from Colombo and 17 other branches spread island wide, SLHA is one of the pioneering women organisations.
‘We have created bonds of friendship among all communities helping them to improve their quality of life’ said the President Suhaila Hussain.
‘The Diamond Jubilee Celebrations 2018’ will be held at the Balmoral Hall, Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo on 3rd August 2018 at 6.00pm onwards.
Popular band ‘C & C with Chandani Hettiarachchi’ will be the main attraction of the night while Faizal Bongso will be the master of ceremonies.Chandana Wickremasinghe Dance Guild too will perform at the event.
Tickets are priced at Rs. 3750/- per person inclusive of Sumptuous sit down dinner.
‘The Jubilee Queen, Best Dancing couples for Jive and Baila will be selected. Prizes and Surprises galore with two air tickets on the entrance ticket draw and the Souvenir draw’ she added.
