Battle of a war veteran to clear his name
‘Skyscraper’ a Hollywood action thriller revolving around a father who goes to great lengths to save his family from a burning skyscraper, is now being screened in theatres in Colombo and the suburbs.
Starring Dwayne Johnson and Neve Campbell in the lead, the film directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, the film was shot in Vancouver, British Columbia and Canada.
FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will Sawyer now assesses security for skyscrapers. On assignment in Hong Kong he finds the tallest, safest building in the world suddenly ablaze, and he’s been framed for it. A wanted man on the run, Will find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family who are trapped inside the building…above the fire line.
The cast also includes Chin Han, Roland Møller, Noah Taylor, Byron Mann, Pablo Schreiber and Hannah Quinlivan.
Skyscraper is being screened at Liberty By Scope Cinemas, Savoy Premier, Excel – Colombo, MC in Colombo and several other theatres around the country.
