Pabasara Ranabahu, who emerged the runner-up in the Girls’ Schools of the Dialog 4G-the Sunday Times Most Popular Schoolboy / Schoolgirl Cricketer of the Year 2018 competition receives her award from Sujith Pathirennahe, the Assistant General Manager, Brands and Promotions, Wijeya Newspapers Ltd, at the presence of S.R. Pathiravithana, the Deputy Editor, Sports of the Sunday Times.

Pabasara of Rathnavali Girls’ School Gampaha,  became second best to Harshitha Samarawickrama of Anula Vidyalaya in the Most Popular contest for Girls’ Schools, an initiative made by the organisers of the Dialog 4G-the Sunday Times Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year. She is a wicket-keeper and a dashing batter, captained her school for two seasons and will be in contention for a national cap in the near future.
