An unbeaten 69 off 124 balls with 10 hits to the ropes by right hander batsman Bhashana de Silva (St. Aloysius) was the highlight of the Under-15 Division I encounter between Richmond College and St. Aloysius College which ended in a draw.

The match played at the Richmond College ground was hampered by intermittent showers and bad light before being called off at 5.48pm.

Richmond invited to bat first registered a first innings score of 170. Pabindu Manawadu 32 and Pulindu Kiriella 23 were the main contributors to the score while Prabuditha Manulka (3/20) and Sachintha Fernando (2/10) were the main wicket takers.

The Aloysians were 135/5 when play was stopped due to bad light and hoping to register a first innings win smashed 11 runs off the first four balls of the three remaining mandatory overs  to reach 145/5 when the game was finally called off due to bad light and rain. Bhashana de Silva anchored the innings with an unbeaten 69 while opener Safran Ahamad scored a 21 off 90 balls. Hasindu Kawishka and Tharinda Nirmal captured two wickets each.
