Rajata Pusthaka award for short story collection
View(s):Professor Sunil Ariyaratne presented the Rajata Pusthaka award to Ms Sumudu Seneviratne, Senior Lecturer, Department of Sinhala, for her short story collection ‘Gihin Enna Carnival’ at the BMICH earlier this week.
Her maiden novel ‘Dulwala Alankare’ won Best Novel of the Year at the State Literary Awards in 2016. ‘Gihin Enna Carnival’ is her first short story collection. The Rajatha Pusthaka is awarded by the Sri Lanka Book Publishers’ Association.
