Tharindu Thivanka (Bodyline), Eranda Seneviratne [NDB Bank (NDB)], Danushka Sandaruwan [HNB Grameen (HNBG)] and Nalaka Dhananjaya (NTB ‘B’) shared the limelight in the ongoing 15th Ceylon Cold Stores PLC, ‘Elephant House Lemonade’ Trophy, MCA ‘D’ Division 40-Over League Tournament 2018 continued last week.
Tharindu Thivanka’s stylish 104 gave Bodyline a comfortable 7-wickets win over MAST Industries (MAST).
Eranda Seneviratne snapped 6/40 for NDB, as they restricted Softlogic Finance (Softlogic) to 166 runs in 37.3 overs and win by 3 wickets, with 2 deliveries to spare. An excellent double by Dhanushka Sandaruwan (92 runs and 4/9) gave HNBG a comprehensive 238-runs win over Ceylinco Insurance (Ceylinco).
Nalaka Dhananjaya bagged 5/25 to steer NTB ‘B’ to a comfortable 7-wickets win over Hilton Colombo Residencies (HCR).
