GCE O/L results before end December of same year: MoE
View(s):From this year, the GCE (Ordinary level) results will be released before end December of the same year, the Ministry of Education (MoE) said.
Quoting Education Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, the MoE website said that minimum time will be expended on marking answer scripts, to avoid hindrance to Education activities in the coming year.
For this purpose, the Dept of Exams has been directed to increase the allowance to examiners marking answer scripts. It has also been decided to limit the number of answer scripts marked within a day, to prevent any injustice to students when marking the papers.
