Payments to invigilators increased

The payments to be made to staff deployed for examination duties at the forthcoming GCE O Level have been increased with immediate effect.
The ministry of education has directed the examinations department to increase the rates.

Accordingly the rates for the administrator have been increased from Rs.1,850 to Rs.2,000 while the rates for staff in the examination halls have been increased by Rs.100 to Rs.300.
