Colombo FC tame Up Country Lions 3-0
Colombo FC overcame Up Country Lions SC 3-0 in the Dialog Champions League Stage Six game at the Jayatilleke Stadium, Nawalapitiya yesterday. Colombo FC led 1-0 at the breather.
The first goal was netted in the 28th minute by Furic Momas. In the second half the other goals were scored in the 54th minute by M.N.M. Fazal. The last goal was scored by Chanaka Chameera in the 68th minute.
There were three games scheduled to be played in Colombo yesterday. All of them were postponed due to the prevailing weather conditions.
Today five matches are scheduled to be played. They are: Crystal Palace SC vs Police SC at Jayatilleke Stadium, Nawalapitiya, Super Sun SC vs Pelicans SC at the Vernon Fernando Stadium Kalutara. Matara City FC vs Negombo Youth SC at the Matara City ground. Renown SC vs Navy SC at the Kelaniya Football Complex and New Youngs vs Army SC at Albert F. Pieris ground, Wennappuwa.
