Next week’s AGM of the ST Business Club
View(s):The 22nd annual general meeting of the Sunday Times Business Club (STBC) will be held on Tuesday, August 29 at the Kingsbury Colombo.
A new committee (EXCO) will be elected at the meeting with the new team setting in motion its events calendar for the year 2017-18. Kingbury is the host hotel of the club.
Over the past year, the STBC has conducted interesting panel discussions from UK’s exit from Brexit, crisis in labour to traditional music (dedicated to the late W.D. Amaradeva), credit cards, disaster management, fast-tracking career growth, start-ups, crisis in labour and trends in education.
The 2016-17 EXCO is made up of President – Sampath Kulathunga, Vice President – Harsha Pathiraja, Secretary – Shantha Dias Gunaratne, Treasurer- Anura Perera, General Committee – Prasanna Samarasinghe, S. Shankar, Sanjaya Fernando, Ravinash Perera and H.R.M Hakeem with immediate Past President Amal Fernando also on the committee.
