Universities of Peradeniya and Zurich sign MoU
View(s):A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the University of Zurich (UoZ) and the University of Peradeniya (UoP), to commence academic collaboration between the 2 Universities. The MoU provides to commence collaborative research and academic programmes as well as to initiate student/staff exchange programmes in the future, the UoP said.
UoP Vice-Chancellor Prof Upul B. Dissanayake, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof O.G. Dayaratne, Head of the Dept. of Geography, M.A.S. Jayakumara, Prof Tilak Hewawasam, Dr Nalini Hennayake and Ms Thamali Kithsiri participated at this event held at the UoP.
Prof Benedikt Korf represented the UoZ.
Mr Jayakumara will be the coordinator for the UoP.
