Veteran filmmaker and teledrama director Bermin Lylie Fernando’s latest film ‘Aga Pipi Mal’, a story revolving around a policeman and a woman who is battered by many social circumstances is now in the process of dubbing. The shooting of the film took place in and around Bandarawela.

The film stars Damitha Abeyratne, Aruni Ranasinghe, Veena Jayakody, Rex Kodippili, Buddhi Wickrema, Udayanthi Kulatunga, Jayasekara Aponsu, Anuj Ranasinghe and
Asanki Perera.

Script written and produced R. A. Saranapala, the owner of Ella Mount Hotel, the story revolves around Samadhi who is forced to go through many a struggles. Many men try to get advantage of her and this leads to a chaotic situation in her life.  At this point Samadhi meets Vishwa, an honest police officer with an exemplary character. They become good friends and Vishwa volunteers to help Samadhi. But this affects Vishwa family life.
