Prince of Wales, Tissa MMV in finals
Defending champions Prince of Wales and Tissa MMV Kalutara moved to the final of the Under 13 Division One cricket when they won their semi-final encounters against Royal Colombo and Royal Panadura played at Kotte.
In the match between Prince of Wales and Royal Colombo saw the Cambrian juniors taking first lease of the wicket making a score of 215 for 8 declared. Rithika Fernando top scored with 56. Royal in their turn was able to muster a score of only 186.
The match between Tissa MMV and Royal Panadura was a low scoring affair with Tissa MMV batting first making 149 for 9 declared and then restricting their opponents for a score of 139.
