View(s):Ambassador Jayantha Dhanapala will deliver the Third Gamani Corea Memorial Lecture on Thursday November 10 at 5 pm at the BMICH Committee Room D. He will speak on “The Quest for Global Good Governance”
Ambassador Dhanapala was United Nations Under-Secretary-General on Disarmament. He was a career diplomat who served in many important countries including China, Britain, India, Switzerland and the United States. He was Sri Lanka’s ambassador to the United States and Permanent Representative to the UN Office in Geneva . He was head of the UN Institute for Disarmament Research.
