View(s):The Sri Lanka Library Association in collaboration with GIZ will hold its second Human Library Session at Independence Square today, November 6 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. It promises to be a novel experience! In the human library, people rather than books are available for reading.
Those who volunteer to be “human books” are “people with a particular personal experience or perspective of life”. They could also be experts or subject specialists who could share their knowledge and experience. These human books agree to converse with members of the community, designated as “readers.” All are invited to experience this new concept.
