Sir Richard Jolly to deliver Gamani Corea Foundation lecture

Sir Richard Jolly, former Deputy Executive Director of UNICEF, Special Adviser to the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (1996 to 2000) and Principal Coordinator of the widely-acclaimed Human Development Report, will be visiting Sri Lanka from September 27 to October 2 at the invitation of the Gamani Corea Foundation.

He is currently Honorary Professor and Research Associate of the Institute of Development Studies of the University of Sussex where he was the Director before joining UNICEF. He will deliver a Lecture at the invitation of the Gamani Corea Foundation, on “Development: Can Sri Lanka be a model for implementing the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)?” on September 28, at 5 p.m at the BMICH Committee Room D.
On September 29, he will address a Seminar at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Peradeniya.
