Kavindu Umayanga slammed a quick fire unbeaten 201 in only 139 balls as Holy Cross College Kalutara coasted to an easy first inning win over DSS in the pre-quarter final match of the Under-Division One cricket tournament played at Kalutara.

Kavindu was also involved in a massive 214 run stand for the third wicket with Sheron Fonseka who hit a 75 enabling Holy Cross make a score of 313 for 4 after bowling out DSS for a low score of 113.

In the other pre-quarter final matches that were played saw Nalanda, S. Thomas’, Mahanama Colombo, and De Mazenod gaining first inning wins against Royal Panadura, Dharmasoka MV Ambalangoda, St. Benedict’s and Richmond.
