Punyasena Gunasinghe’s “Dhikthala Kaalagola” a drama that contains many popular songs, written by Charles Silva Gunasinghe will be staged at 3.30 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10 at the Lionel Wendt Theatre, Colombo 7.
The cast includes Richard Maanamudali, Jayanath Bandara, Thushari Gunarathne, Isuru Weerasinghe, Upali Bandara, Upali Thiwanka Hewage, Saman Nishantha Gunasinghe, Ranjitha Ranaweera and Rohana Wijaya Sri including many other leading artistes.
Music and lyrics by late Charles Silva Gunasinghe while music direction and production is done by Punyasena Gunasinghe. Mahendra Gunasinghe and Nandana Gunasinghe contribute with percussions while costume design and lighting are by S.H. Sarath and Mihindu Madushanka respectively.
