Reiki is a healing technique that is fast gaining popularity worldwide. In Sri Lanka too, Reiki practitioners, who use the technique that channels energy into the patient by means of touch to activate the body’s natural healing processes, are gaining popularity.

Wijayasena Gangodage, a trained practitioner of Reiki is keen to promote the process of natural methods of healing among Sri Lankans and wean them away from an over dependence on medicinal drugs.

As a means to promote Reiki, which has now become an internationally accepted alternative medical system, in both the western and the eastern countries, a day long workshop will be conducted by Dr. Ranga J Premaratne, PhD a Raiki master (Reiki Jin Kei Do) from Sydney, Australia from whom Mr.Gangodage learnt Reiki.

The workshops will be on the ‘Rings of Power’, which is a healing and meditation process using unique and effective techniques that anyone can learn and use with great benefits.

It will be held at the Dharmavijaya Foundation Hall, Sarana Mawatha, Off Bauddhaloka Mawatha) Colombo -7on June 11, from 8 a.m. To 5 p.m.

Tickets priced at Rs 2000 each can be purchased from Sarasavi bookshop at Nugegoda, Borella and Kollupitiya or at the gate after  8 a.m on day of the workshop.
