Family fair at Cathedral
View(s):The Cathedral of Christ the Living Saviour will hold a family fair at the Cathedral grounds , 368, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7 on Sunday, April 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ( after the Sunday service).
The variety of stalls range from food – baked, savoury and sweet items, achcharu, lamprais and yellow rice, waffles, thosai,wade, hot dogs and other snacks and drinks- including products from Elephant House. Then there are vegetables and fruits and miscellaneous items including costume jewellery, hand painted clothing, local handicrafts, handlooms, sarees, shoes – really anything and everything will be there!
Plant lovers can visit a special stall for them and those who love reading can get good books at very reasonable prices. Special mention must be made about the stall done by the Blind Colony, Seeduwa.
When you feel tired of walking around, you can visit the special Foot Rub stall. For some kiddies’ fun, there’s a Bouncer (castle) and also a face painting stall.
