Restaurant with dance floor at Waters Edge
Creating a brand new culture of a “Restaurant with a Dance Floor”, Waters Edge last year welcomed 2015 in a truly different style. The event returns this year from 8 p.m. onwards at the Grand Ballroom.
Featuring the sounds of Manilal and Upekkha, revellers will have a 50-foot dance floor to dance the night away. The culinary team at Waters Edge will also put together an extensive multi-cuisine buffet.
The party at Waters Edge will also continue outdoors with DJs Paul Thomas and Guy Mantzur together with local favourites Jayy Vibes, Rachith, Ultra, Dilee D, Nishan Lee and Dimuth K. Put together by Fantasy Events, tickets will be priced at Rs. 6,000 per person.

“Blast From The Past” at BMICH
DK Promotions who presented a number of shows in 2015 will wind up the year’s proceedings with the new year’s eve dinner dance “Blast From The Past”.
The dinner dance covering a popular selection of hits from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s will be held at the function hall Mihilaka Medura from 9 p.m. onwards.
Vision with Damayantha will provide music. The dinner buffet will be served by Mount Lavinia hotel catering service. Tickets are limited to 130 and priced at Rs. 5000 inclusive of dinner. Dance only tickets will be Rs. 3000.

Cool Jays and Chinese buffet at Loon Tao
Loon Tao is celebrating New Year’s Eve in style for the seventh consecutive year with its signature Gala Chinese buffet. Cool Jays has joined the party for the fourth consecutive time to provide unlimited music – pop, retro, western and local.
So guests can look forward to great food, music, dancing and unlimited entertainment coupled with the beach atmosphere.
Starting at 9 p.m. the event will be under cover in case of rain, with a solid floor for dancing.
