Concept 2016, the show conceptualised by the man behind the Hameedia Group- Fouzul Hameed, unfolded the trends and designs for the seasons ahead.

The Collections unveiled last Tuesday at the Envoy Mansion boutique store included an elegant sarong range that offers a broad choice for the men who want to blend tradition with modernity, a casual collection inspired by nature, a ceremonial wear collection, Fouzul’s Great Gatsby tribute collection and a classy white shirt collection.

For those looking for something bold – the coloured jackets of Horizon – a collection inspired by sun, sea and sand would no doubt be a feast for the fashion sense while the playful party wear/ evening wear collection woven around the opulent Royal velvet becomes ideal for seasonal gigs.

The name behind Sri Lanka’s top men’s fashion brands such as Envoy, Signature and FH, Fouzul Hameed who is the Managing Director of Hameedia Group commenting on the launch stated that, the concept show has been created to change the landscape of menswear fashion in Sri Lanka.

“The way someone is dressed defines their personality and this show is all about showcasing the extensive range of clothing that we create for men.

The show helps men realise that they can make great fashion choices for every occasion. Our aim is to make this event the most anticipated menswear extravaganza in the local fashion calendar,” he said.

In its third year now, the Concept show supports a cause with funds raised being channelled to the My Friend project which helps underprivileged kids across the country, in their education.

‘Concept 2016’ also partnered with brands that specialise in men’s retail, Vision Care, Ramani Fernando Salons, Adidas, Cinnamon Hotels and Exclusive Lines.
