Rotary sing-along with Rukshan Perera
View(s):‘Many Gifts, One Goal’, is the theme of this year’s Rotary Club of Colombo Metropolitan annual sing-along conducted by the well-known musician Rukshan Perera supported by Sohan and the Experiments, to be held on November 24 at the Ballroom, Galadari Hotel, Colombo.

The Rotary Club of Metropolitan’s fundraising events are reliant on the generosity and assistance of many local businesses and well wishers. The monies collected are used to support the many community service projects organized by the club.
With last year’s funds, they launched the ‘Lama Piyasa – Ragama Rehabilitation Hospital Project’, which involves the construction and administration of a rehabilitation ward for juvenile victims of abuse and neglect.
This year they will use the funds for English classes, computer classes, dance classes in underprivileged communities where the children have no opportunity to learn such skills.
Composer, director, multi-instrumentalist and singer – Rukshan will rock the night together with the fabulous Experiments performing popularsongs, new and old, with some surprise acts too making the event a night to remember.
