Suba Saha Yasa A play on a royal mistake
View(s):Award winning writer and playwright late Siman Nawagaththegama’s theatre production ‘Suba saha Yasa’ will be staged at 3.30 p.m and 6.30 p.m. on October 17 at Yowun Nikethanaya, Meerigama.
Played by Sriyantha Mendis, Nihal Fernando, Kusum Renu, Kumara Thirimadura, Wasantha Wittachchi, Samadara Ariyawansa, Amaradasa Thalgahagoda, Thiwanka Nayomi, Rathna D. Nambuge, Upul Mahanama, Premakumara Dassanayake, Sujeewa Priyalal, Nimal Jayasinghe and W. Namal, behind the screen makeup will be handed by Wasantha Wittachchi whilst Stanley Omar’s music colours the play.
Stage management is handled by Ashoka Samayawardena and stage setup and accessories are designed by Lionel Bentharage. Costume design by Danapala Bogodage and Kamalkanthi Bogodage whilst Upali Weerasinghe is in charge of illumination effects. Suba saha Yasa is organ
