Jazbaa; An Advocate in dilemma
View(s):Jazbaa (Passion) an Indian action-drama film directed by Sanjay Gupta was released in Sri Lankan on October 9 symultaneous to the worldwide release.
Starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead role, with Irfan Khan and Shabana Azmi in supporting roles, the film is a remake of the 2007 South Korean film Seven Days.
Directed by Sanjay Gupta, Aishwarya plays a role of a powerful and successful advocate, Anuradha Verma, who has a penchant for taking over the courtroom and winning her cases.
But, what happens when Mrs. Verma is faced with the threat of losing her daughter if she doesn’t let a hard criminal, played by Chandan Roy Sanyal walk free?
Anuradha’s only hope seems to be a suspended cop, Irrfan Khan who despite the hopeless situation appears to have everything under control.
The film was shot in January this year at locations in and around Mumbai.
