Twenty Eight school teams from the Western Province battled it out in a challenging and informative Junior Quiz 2015 jointly organised by the Funday Times and the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) on June 6, at the IWMI Auditorium in Battaramulla.
The level of knowledge shown by the school junior quiz teams was impressive and after two highly competitive semi-finals, conducted by Quiz Master Shehan Kumar, five top teams were chosen for the grand final.
After a tight finish, Ananda College, Colombo walked away with the Gold Trophy, closely followed by St. Peter’s College, Colombo winning the Silver Trophy and Lyceum International School, Nugegoda winning the Bronze.
