J. Sivagurunadan’s latest comedy film ‘Ko Mark No Mark’ presented by a star studded cast will be released from December 12 at Savoy Wellawatta and other EAP circuit cinemas. The film stars Wijaya Nandasiri, Mahendra Perera, Dilhani Ekanayake and Giriraj Kaushalya, Semini Iddamalgoda and Kumara Thirimadura.
he story is by Thilak Senasinghe, the screenplay by Mihiri Sirithilaka and Chinthaka Peiris, “Ko Mark No Mark” is scripted by Giriraj Kaushalya. The film revolves around Mark (Wijaya Nandasiri) who works as an assistant to professor Amaraweera (Mahendra Perera) a scientist who is working on a new discovery. Mark has a tough time at home with his wife (Dilhani Ekanayake) as he has not been paid his salary for several months. She often quarrels with him over this.
One day when Prof. Amaraweera refuse to pay his salary, Mark decides to commit suicide and swallows a solution in the lab prepared by the professor. Instead of death it makes him disappear physically and quite surprisingly he gets in touch with a dead revolutionary Vimukthi (Giriraj). The revolutionary uses Mark to achieve his mission to make a better and equal society. But Mark with Prof. Amaraweera tries to regain his original status. ‘Ko Mark No Mark’ takes the viewer through many dramatic turns and twists.
