Young writer Niroshani Peiris has released her latest novel ‘Thiththa Kathawak’ (A bitter story), a tale revolving around three women. The novel discusses the meaning of life and its depth which goes beyond the ordinary day today living in the present society.

Starting with a collection of poetry tittled ‘Oba Mage Wasanthayai’ in 2004, Niroshani has written a number of novels, children’s stories, translations and poetry collections. Among her novels are ‘Kandulu Sala’, ‘Nuwara Sanda Tharunai’ and she had written children’s books tittled ‘Tharushige Yaluwa’, ‘Horen Awa Amuttha’, ‘Wessa Lassanai’, ‘Messa’, ‘Dandi Bandi’ and Aesop’s Fables.
