St. Joseph’s 90’s Sports Fiesta today
View(s):The inaugural Sports Fiesta organized for the 90’s batches of St Joseph’s is scheduled to be held in a carnival atmosphere at the school ground in Darley Road today.
The event is being organised by the SJC batch of 97 which will involve most of the old boys from the year 1990 to 1999 with the sole purpose of facilitating harmony and fellowship amongst the 90’s batches of SJC.
The main feature of the fun filled sports fiesta will be the track and field events but will also include other popular sports like cricket sixes and rugby sevens.
The unique feature of the sports fiesta is that the events will be conducted according to weight categories and not age groups with the aim of giving opportunities for a majority to participate in the events.
The proceedings will get underway at 8.30 a.m. with holy mass at the college chapel and the opening ceremony is scheduled for 10.00 a.m. which will be followed with the various sports events that has been planned to be held for the day.
