With the conclusion of the track and field events on Friday the curtains came down of the 17th Army Inter Unit Para Meet 2014 at the Sugathadasa Stadium. In this mega meet consisting of over 127 events of various disciplines of sports was competed by over 400 athletes including eight from invited countries of India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam.

In the events that worked-off for three days only one meet record was established in the Wheel Chair Class II Javelin throw event by Ngic Hung of Vietnam throwing a distance of 40.9 metres.

At the events completed earlier with winners as follows:

Wheel Chair Marathon, Weight Lifting, Cycling, Marathon and Volleyball Sitting (Sri Lanka Light Infantry), Table Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball Standing and Swimming (Gajaba Regiment), Beach Volleyball (National Security Unit), Wheel Chair Basketball (Vijayabahu Regiment), Archery (Gemunu Regiment) and Wheel Chair Tennis (Singha Regiment).
