Sahan cracks career best knock of 156
Chilaw Marians skipper Sahan Wijeratne hit a career best knock of 156 as he along with Kanchana Gunawardena who cracked a 115 laid the foundation for the Marians to amass a score of 467 against Badureliya SC in the Premier Plate Championship cricket encounter played at the BRC ground
A knock of 52 by Suminda Mendis enabled Bloomfield resuming on their overnight score of 296 for 7 to end their innings making 364 against Colts in the morning session of play on day two in the match played at the FTZ ground in Katunayake. In reply Colts were 238-5 at stumps.
Panadura SC having been in a strong position of 140 for 1 on day one lost their remaining nine wickets for the addition of 110 and was restricted to a score of 250. This was in reply to the Airmen’s score of 213.
