Senaratne Ananda’s novel ‘Gedera Idena Batha’ was launched recently at the Public Library auditorium and in response to many reader requests, the author has organised a follow-up seminar on the book at the Bruhaspathi Campus, Colombo 1, on March 2 at 11 a.m.

This campus is located behind the Peoples Bank head quarters building, Colombo 01, at the end of JMC Road. Bruhaspathi is an organisation dedicated to enhancing Sinhala literature and language for everyone.

Senaratne Ananda, an award winning artist, dramatist, singer, musician, lyricist was Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Authority. Now, he is dedicating his time to the arts and recently launched a song album, a book of short stories and this novel.

The novel comes with an album of songs as the lyrics of the songs were born of the book, the main characters being poets.. The song album (CD) is given with the novel, free of charge. The songs are composed by Mr. Senaratne and performed by veteran singers such as Amila Nadeeshani and Priyani Jayasinghe.
Entrance to the seminar is free.
