Get ready with your masks, it’s the Mardi Gras Ball
View(s):The North American Women’s Association (NAWA) established in 1952 will once again host the Mardi Gras Ball on Saturday March 1, at the Cinnamon Grand Ballroom with Misty and DJ Danushka in attendance.
The NAWA, a non-profit organisation focuses primarily on how they can uplift and support women and children with special needs throughout Sri Lanka. All funds raised from this Ball and other fund raising opportunities are given directly to those in need. Throughout the years the women in NAWA have made it a priority to visit and spend time with the charities they support to see firsthand how their contributions provide support and encouragement to others.
