Seeing double at Golden Globes!

It was a case of double vision on the Golden Globes red carpet last Sunday night as many Hollywood leading ladies rolled out in distinctly similar dresses.

Girls star Lena Dunham and Big Bang Theory actress Melissa Rauch both arrived at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in canary yellow fishtail frocks.
The pair also went head to head for a gong – with their respective shows both up for the Best TV Comedy or Musical category. Brooklyn Nine-Nine was the surprise winner, however.

Lena, who wore Zac Posen, was nominated for Best Actress in a TV comedy but lost to Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler.
Robin Wright, in Reem Acra, and Naomi Watts, in Tom Ford, looked almost identical too in gold halter neck dresses.
The House of Cards star, who won Best Actress in a TV Drama category, was joined by her new fiance Ben Foster.
Naomi was joined by her husband Liev Schreiber, who received a Best Actor in a TV Drama nomination for his role in Ray Donovan.(Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston took home the gong.)

The Good Wife’s Julianna Margulies, who was also nominated for Best Actress in a TV Drama, and Fashion Police host Kelly Osbourne also turned heads in copycat dresses.  While they are usually worlds apart in the style stakes, both opted for black V-neck dresses that featured gold detailing on the shoulder.
Downton Abbey’s Laura Carmichael and Nashville star Hayden Panettiere, in Tom Ford, were also a close match in monochrome frocks.
Downton Abbey was nominated for Best TV Drama while Hayden was up for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Show, Miniseries or TV Movie. (Breaking Bad and Jacqueline Bisset won the categories respectively.) © Daily Mail, London
