13th annual SLHRF convention
View(s):The 13th Annual Convention of the Sri Lanka Human Rights Foundation(SLHRF) was held at the Booker Banquet Hall in Colombo on September 2 under the chairmanship of SLHRF President Mr.B.M.Murshideen. Japanese Ambassador in Sri Lanka Nobuhito Hobo was the Chief Guest and the Executive Director,Centre for Policy Alternatives, Dr. P. Saravanamuththu was the Guest Speaker.
The new project of the Foundation “Young Ambassadors for Peace” was launched at this event. People from the four communities were also honoured for their services in peace building activities by the Chief Guest.
