Lankan born Prof Ana Gowribalan Vamadeva from the University of Cincinnati (www.uc.edu) recently visited the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon at Rajagiriya to renew ties. UC works closely with the IChemC, helping its students become global chemists.

The institutional collaboration agreement signed by both parties in Colombo in 2008, hasgiven rise to numerous transfers of undergraduate and graduate students. The collaboration was initiated by Scholarships for USA (Pvt) Ltd (www.scholarshipsforusa.com), who firmly believe that US education would contribute in making Lankans global professionals and is passionately committed to help facilitate the process.
