Students from thirteen different countries representing almost all the major religious communities in the world expressed their appreciation at experiencing the deeper insights of Buddhism and cultural heritage as they celebrated Poson Bhakthigee on the 25th June at the school premises.

Many religious ‘gee’ were sung by both the foreign and Sri Lankan students accompanied by traditional instruments.
The English version of “ Apanna Jathakya “  enacted by the students of the school was admired for its message of the wisdom of the virtuous.

The Poson dansala was another moving event where the students ran to serve food and water to the guests and people of the locality exhibiting the sheer joy of sharing and service.

Thousands of people who were gathered at the American International School premises had the privilege of witnessing the ‘sense of harmony in diversity’ that were displayed by the Americanites, the generosity of their parents, their teachers and the Management.
