W.A. Nalani assumes duties as new NSB Chairperson

W. A. Nalani, a veteran banker, on Tuesday assumed duties as the new Chairperson of National Savings Bank (NSB).

She is the first female to head the bank in its 41 year-old history.

Ms. Nalani is graduate of the University of Colombo, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics (Hons) and Bachelor of Philosophy in Economics with a career in banking spanning over 37 years. She completed her primary and secondary education at Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda and Vishaka Vidyalaya, Bambalapitiya, respectively. She has served as the President of the Association of Professional Bankers of Sri Lanka.
