ESOFT launches new higher education services
View(s):ESOFT Computer studies, one of the pioneering higher education institutions in information and communication technology in Sri Lanka, recently introduced many several new services to the higher education sphere.
Accordingly, now, the ESOFT Computer studies conducts diploma and degree courses in several higher education fields such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electronic and electrical engineering, business management, accountancy and English language education.
In order to facilitate this, arrangements have been made to categorize and re-launch the 40 branches of the ESOFT Computer studies located island-wide as ESOFT Metro Campus, ESOFT Region Campus and ESOFT City Campus.
Other than these campuses, the ESOFT College of Engineering and Technology has been opened in Katubedde, Moratuwa, as a higher education institution dedicated to engineering education.
The first ESOFT Metro Campus of the ESOFT Higher Education Institute was opened at Bambalapitiya, Colombo, and the second was opened at Jaffna recently. Students can follow Information Technology external degree courses of the Colombo and Moratuwa Universities, the higher education courses of the British Computer Society (BCS), the United Kingdom, the HND courses of EDEXCEL International Institute of the Great Britain and the B. A. degree programmes such as the B.A. (Hons) in Business & Finance Degree and the B.Sc (Hons) in Computing Degree of the BUCKS New University of the United Kingdom.
Furthermore, facilities have been made for students to follow several Diploma courses in information technology, business management, accountancy and English language at these ESOFT Metro Campuses.
The ESOFT branches located in sub-cities throughout the island will be re-launched as ESOFT Region Campuses and the branches in provincial towns will be re-launched as ESOFT City Campuses.
School leavers and those employed will be able to follow several diploma courses in information technology, business management, accountancy and English language at these ESOFT City Campuses and ESOFT Region Campuses and Diploma and Degree courses in civil engineering, mechanical engineering and electronic and electrical engineering at the ESOFT College of Engineering and Technology at Katubedde, Moratuwa.
