‘Xtaztic’ experience

Initiated six years ago – ‘Xtaztic’ organized by the United Nations Club of S. Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia has grown in recognition as the platform to showcase young talent.

This year as well - the 7th edition of ‘Xtaztic’ will feature a thrilling line up which include performers of the likes of Bathiya and Santhush, Battery & Black. Furthermore Sri Lanka’s only artistes to have signed up with Sony Music International - The Sherifs, and talented emerging artistes such as Sankha B, Shuaib & Ryan.

‘Xtaztic’ will see recognized bands along with the upcoming artistes of the country performing on the stage, a unique opportunity for all youngsters looking to gain that much needed exposure. Over 3 months of planning and hard work, has gone into organizing this concert. “It has been a test of time and ability for all students who took part in the organizing of this concert,” said Aqeel Deen, President of the United Nations Club, who also added that “It has been a really brilliant experience not forgetting the exposure all the students received working with professionals.”

The members of the club, Project chairs along with the Executive committee have come together to ensure the success of the evening. ‘Xtaztic 2012’ will take place on January 28, 2012 at the Bishop’s College Auditorium from 7.00pm onwards, tickets are priced at Rs. 800/= Tickets will be available at the College Office , College Gym and at Commons.
