Rotary SING-A-LONG

The Rotary Club of Colombo has put on the boards a ‘Sing-A-Long’ for a very worthy cause. Total proceeds of this fund raiser will go towards the Cancer Early Detection Centre at Narahenpita. Next Wednesday, 25th January, Sohan and the X’Periments will strike up the band at 7.30 pm to enable all present to ‘Sing-A-Long’ with those golden oldies.

The night will be held together by the Master Compere, Vijaya Corea who, with his inimitable and customary charisma, will keep the night ticking at the Grand Ballroom of the Galadari Hotel. The cost of the ticket, which includes a colourful song book of 150 songs, is only Rs. 750/=. Naturally, most of the tickets are already sold out but, for lovers of music who would like to have an evening of sheer relaxation, there is good news. There are still a few tickets now available at Torana, Liberty Plaza, Kollupitiya.

There are 22 prizes on the Raffle Draw which includes a Return Air Ticket to Bangkok. Moreover, there are 10 attractive prizes on the Entrance Ticket Draw. In addition, there will be prizes awarded to the winners of the Baila Competition and the Best Singing Table too. This event is guaranteed to be a sell-out and so wisdom demands the acquisition of the remaining tickets before they run out!
