‘Unstoppable’ crashes in to Colombo

A thrilling cinematic experience, an attempt by a veteran engineer and a young conductor, aboard a train in the runaway’s path trying to stop a massive unmanned locomotive, nicknamed "The Beast" and loaded with toxic cargo is now being screened at the Majestic cinema, Colombo.

Inspired by actual events, "Unstoppable" is an adrenaline rush fuelled by director Tony Scott's signature mark of propulsive action rooted in the reality of ordinary people placed in extraordinary circumstances.

A railroad company frantically works to prevent an unmanned, half-mile-long freight train carrying combustible liquids and poisonous gas from wiping out a city. A veteran locomotive engineer (Denzel Washington) and a young train conductor (Chris Pine) chase the runaway train in a different locomotive in order to bring the runaway under control before it is too late.

They run after a runaway train locomotive which has to be separated and under control before its derailing on a curve and causes a toxic spill in that city.

The 20th Century Fox film stars Denzil Washington, Chris Pine, Rosario Dawson, Ethan Suplee, Elizabeth Mathis, Kevin Dunn, Jessy Schram, Meagan Tandy and Kevin Chapman.
