Wesley proves itself again, but this time in India
By Adrian Marcus

When they left Sri Lanka they never knew that they were going to bring back such great achievements. The members of the United Nations club of Wesley College attended the Model United Nations (MUN) conference organized by the Sishya School held in India on August 23, 24 and 25. They had once again shown their capacity in public speaking, but this time in India by winning numerous awards at this competition.

Now the word MUN might have made your mind wonder as to what it is? Well here's the answer: The MUN is a duplication of the actual UNO which is organized by students in which other students from various schools represent themselves as diplomats from member nations of the UNO in order to bring up solutions to global problems. On the overall the delegates from Russia consisting 7 delegates won the best delegation award which is given to the delegates representing the same country with the most outstanding representation of their country, overthrowing the delegates representing the countries of USA, Uganda, Sri Lanka and China.
